Aerosleep: The Unique Sleeping Concept

Purchase the Aerosleep Baby Protect Mattress Cover now.

Various studies focusing on baby's safety while asleep have revealed two contradictory facts:

  • The mattress should be air permeable to reduce the risk of suffocation and overheating.
  • Mattresses are a breeding ground for bacteria and dust, and are therefore best covered by a mattress protector. An ordinary mattress cover or a water-resistant fitted cover, however, cancels out the air-permeable properties of the mattress.

  • This is why parents have to choose between an air-permeable mattress or a hygienic one, a hard choice. AeroSleep has therefore developed a new concept: a top cover for the mattress which brings together all good properties. This AeroSleep Baby Protect:
  • Lets air and moisture through to reduce the risk of suffocation and overheating.
  • Absorbs moisture that evaporates fast.
  • Forms an impenetrable shield against bacteria and allergens in the mattress.

  • By offering a solution for the above-mentioned contradiction, AeroSleep is a revolution in the safety and health of every sleeping baby. In other words, you can create the best sleep environment for your baby with:
  • A mattress with good back support combined with
  • AeroSleep which ensures safety and health while asleep.

  • The Advantages of Aerosleep: Safe - Hygienic - Practical

    1. SAFE

Thanks to the maximal air permeability, AeroSleep helps to reduce preventatively the following hazards when your baby sleeps: 1a) Protects against suffocation:
Always put your baby on his back to sleep. If however, he should turn on his tummy while sleeping, he will be able to keep breathing freely. The danger of suffocation diminishes considerably.
  • 1b) Protects against rebreathing CO2:
Optimum discharge of exhaled air (C02), and supply of fresh ambient air. This reduces the risk of re-inhaling CO2.
  • 1c) Protects against heating:
Babies easily get too hot. Through to the 3D honeycomb structure, hot air from the body is discharged and fresh ambient air is supplied. As a result, excessive body heat can evaporate without problem. In this way, the baby keeps its body temperature under control, which limits the risk of overheating and heat congestion.

  • 2. HYGIENIC

AeroSleep protects the baby against bacteria, allergies and skin irritations thanks to:
  • An absorbing intermediate layer captures all moisture. The skin of the baby remains dry and comfortable. Thanks to the air circulation of the 3D honeycomb structure, there is a swift evaporation of moisture. As a result, skin irritations disappear.
  • An impenetrable protective film keeps the mattress free from bacteria, fungus and dust. It also prevents contact between your baby and dust, pollen and house dust mites from the mattress. In this way, the danger of allergies is reduced.

  • 3. PRACTICAL

  • AeroSleep has to be washed at 60°C which is enough to wash away all allergens (house mite excreta, dust, grass pollen, etc.), urine and vomit. The baby enjoys a clean sleeping environment after each wash.
  • AeroSleep fits on any mattress and is easy to fix. So it is easy to take with you when travelling, when your baby goes to sleep elsewhere, etc.

  • Illustration of Aerosleep Baby Protect

    1. An open 3D honeycomb structure with:
  • 95% open space - ensures greater air permeability and optimum ventilation
  • 5% solid material: 1 square metre can bear up to 2 000 kg
  • Conclusion: A layer of air between the body and the mattress is created where the air can circulate freely
  • 2. A moisture absorbent intermediate layer
    3. An impenetrable protective film: prevents moisture from penetrating the mattress.
    4. A high quality mattress for a good back support
    5. An AeroSleep fitted sheet for a maximum air circulation between the 3D structure and your baby.
