Babies love putting things into something, taking them out, and then starting over again. This kind of play can offer babies endless amounts of fun and is a great learning experience for them, helping them develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and object recognition.

Why I Love These Products
I find it amazing how young children who normally run around non-stop can sit and concentrate so fully on something as simple as placing items into a container and then dumping them out only to refill the container. The bright colours of these Fill & Spill soft toys draws the attention of young minds and provides them with an opportunity to sit and concentrate for a short while - giving their tired bodies a needed break from their constant movement. I also love that I can talk to them about the bugs and sea creatures they are seeing and the colours that they are touching - giving me an opportunity to sit with my children and have a discussion that encourages learning.
Another great thing about this product is both my children love it. My 4 month old daughter loves the bright colours and the easy-to-grasp soft pieces (encouraging the development of her motor skills and hand-eye coordination) and my 2 year old son loves filling and spilling and telling me about the adventures that the sea creatures and bugs are having (not that I can totally understand everything yet, but I know there is a great story in there :)
